Jack O' Lantern Mason Jar

Happy Halloween everyone!!! In the spirit of one of my absolute favorite holidays, I decided to do a DIY project, using mason jars. I love mason jars, because they are so versatile!!
For this project, you will need:
painter's tape (or regular paper tape)
mason jar
a pen (do not use a Sharpie like I did)
a can of orange spray paint
tealight candles

This is a pretty inexpensive project. I had a lot of it lying around at home, I found an extra mason jar at the dollar store, and I bought the spray paint at Walmart for a few bucks.

For the eyes, I put two pieces of tape together that that I could draw them at the size I wanted.
After I cut the shapes out, I made sure to press down firmly to make sure no paint would get under the tape.
I put a bag inside the jar so that I could spray the top, without getting paint inside the jar. The sharpie on the cut-outs starting oozing down my jar. Instead of being patient and letting the jar dry first, I panicked and sprayed another coat haha which I do not recommend. Let the paint dry first!
I decided to do another one, this one being more scary oOoOoO!
Hours later, after the paint was completely dry, I peeled off the tape and this was the final product!
They look so cool with the lights off! Even though my paint dripped down from spraying the can too close, the dripping affect actually makes it look pretty cool and unique!
These Jack 'o Lantern mason jars look great with or without the candles :)
Have a safe and Happy Halloween!!!

Gluten Free Find: Beef Jerky

Hello everyone! It has been a while since I have done a food related post on my blog. As many of you may know, I have been on a "gluten free" diet (I like to call it lifestyle) for the past few years. Many people tell me that they do not know how I resist the regular foods that I was once accustomed to eating. I simply tell people that after two trips in one week to the hospital, I do not have a choice. Now that I am fully aware that foods I was eating daily was violently affecting my digestive system, I make the conscious effort everyday to save myself the pain. Now that we have gotten the seriousness out of the way, I want to introduce you to my new segment on my blog: Gluten Free Finds. I am always trying new food products/brands and am constantly and pleasantly surprised to find so many gluten free substitutes for the foods I used to eat. I haven't had beef jerky in AGES, and I thought I would not find gluten free beef jerky anytime soon. To my surprise, I found some at my local Fresh and Easy store! Now, I LOVE Fresh and Easy. They have so many gluten free foods!!
These are little packs of beef jerky, by the brand Krave. They are not only gluten free, but they are also all natural and do not contain nitrites or artificial ingredients. I believe each pack was $2.99.
This is the Sweet Chipotle flavor. You can really taste the chipotle flavor, and it also have a smokey/sweet taste. It's delicious!!
The Grilled Sweet Teriyaki is my favorite favorite!! It tastes just like how it's described, and it really reminds me of the traditional beef jerky.

There were many over flavors, so I will definitely be getting some more. What I really like about this brand is that it actually tastes much more fresh than traditional beef jerky. The packs are also small, yet contain a good amount of pieces, so you won't feel too guilty if you consumed the whole bag (I spaced mine out over a few times). Overall, I would absolutely recommend anyone on the GF diet to check these babies out if you are craving beef jerky! Try these, and I doubt you will continue to feel deprived of a delicious snack you once used to enjoy. Even if you weren't on a gluten free diet/lifestyle, these would still be a healthier alternative to the traditional beef jerky brands. Let me know if you guys have tried these out!!

Thank you so much for the support!! 'Til next time beef jerky lover, MUAH!

Fabletics - My September Picks

Hey lovely people!! I'm putting this post up late, but I wanted to share with you guys my Fabletics picks for September. This was my second outfit from Fabletics, so this time I did pay full price. My outfit was the Tulum outfit, which costs $49.95.
This is the Forward Tee in the color Mulberry (color no longer available). It's a loose fitting shirt, is lightweight and very comfrtable!
I absolutely love the stitching detail down the back of the shirt!

This is the Gaviota Capri and is the whole reason why I chose this outfit!! Obsessed!! This is in the color charcoal.
I am so obsessed with the mesh detailing on the front and back!!
Just like my last capri pants, this one has a hidden pocket too!
Lastly, these are the 4 Pack No Tangle Hair Ties. I love the fun colors, and they really do protect your hair from getting snagged.

Again, I am extremely satisfied with my purchase!!! I can't wait to show you guys my October outfit. Until then, please feel free to check out my video, featuring this outfit:
