Cutest Crock-Pot EVER!

Hello fellow foodies! I absolutely LOVE food. As much as I enjoy eating out, there's nothing like a home cooked meal. Sometimes our busy schedules make it seem difficult to find the time to actually cook a meal. That's why I stole my mom's idea and bought the cutest Crock-Pot ever!!
I bought this bad boy from Target for a steal at $19.99. I mean, HOW adorable is this?! Cute AND functional?! Take my money, now!! The Crock-Pot has 4 settings: Off, Low, High, and Warm. It comes with the lid, and removable/dishwasher safe stoneware that's perfect for serving.

I decided my first recipe would be BBQ pork ribs mmmmmm

I took a pack of ribs, cut them, salt and peppered to taste, and then broiled them for 5 minutes on each side.
I needed to cook dinner faster, so I turned the setting on to high.
I threw in the ribs, and a whole sliced onion. I let it sit for 2 1/2 hours. Next I added a bottle of bbq sauce, gave it a good stir, and let it cook for another 2 1/2 hours.
After a total of 5 hours, the ribs were done! And boy were they tender...
I decided to serve it with white jasmine rice, and buttered corn. YUM!!! I could not believe how tender these ribs were!!

Overall, I'm in love!! I don't know why I haven't bought a Crock-Pot sooner!! I have already saved so many Crock-Pot recipes, and I'm eager to try them all. I highly recommend this Crock-Pot to anyone! It REALLY does work :)

100th Video Giveaway!!! (CLOSED)

Hey everyone! Today's the day I'm happy to celebrate my 100th video on my YouTube channel! I remember 3 years ago when I uploaded my first video, I was SO nervous. I had a webcam I got from Best Buy at the time, and I would turn the camera on and just freeze....I was so shy! Once I finally uploaded my video, I never thought anyone would ever watch it, so I just let my video sit there for 5 months without any activity to my channel. About 5 months later, to my surprise, I had so many views! To this day, it's still one of my most popular videos I've made. Here I am 100 videos later....boy have I changed since then! I have grown a lot as a person in 3 years, and I really owe a lot to my YouTube channel for that. YouTube allows me to use my creativity to express myself, as well as share and talk about my favorite topics! To commemorate my 100th video, I wanted to do a giveaway. I mean, it's about time, right?!

I decided to giveaway these SUPER AWESOME Color Tattoo eyeshadows by Maybelline! I've heard so many good reviews, and even as I was purchasing these at checkout, the salesperson told me they were her favorite :) Here's what the lucky winner will receive:

The giveaway rules are simple:

1. You must be a subscriber to my channel http://www.youtube.com/MissPurpleP

2. Comment on my video which eyeshadow is your favorite AND comment what type of videos you'd like to see from me in the future!

That's it! The giveaway will be open until June 3, 2014

Deborah Lippmann Mermaid's Dream DUPE!

Hey everyone! I wanted to share my most recent nail polish purchase. This is Revlon's scented nail polish collection, in the shade/scent "Wintermint."
I purchased this for about $5 at Ulta. It wasn't until I got home that I realized why I was obsessed with this color...it is a TOTAL DUPE for Deborah Lippmann's Mermaid's Dream nail polish, which is around $20 by the way!
It really does remind me of Ariel and the ocean. Also, it really does have a peppermint scent!
Not only am I obsessed with this color, but I was pleasantly surprised how easy it was to remove with regular nail polish remover.

Check this line out at your nearest drug store or Ulta!

I also featured the polish in my latest video:
