Online Creeeeepers

Oh hiiiii :) I remember saying back a while ago that I didn't want to only make beauty and fashion videos. Ironically that's what most of my videos are about. But every once in a while, I try to sneak in (more like get the courage to) show you guys my "funny" side. This video I made about the many creepers online (mostly on Facebook) has been LOOONG overdue. I have been thinking about this since I have gotten a Facebook pretty much ^_^ You wouldn't believe the things people say to me online. From the hopefuls, to the desperate people, to the plain out psychos...it's a colorful world out there. So I thought I'd poke fun at the situations I've experienced in the past year or so on Facebook. So here it is if you haven't seen it! Oh and let me know, do you like me making these types of videos?

Thank you SO SO much for the support!!! You have no idea how much it means to me :) 'Til next time guys, MUAH!!

Sally Hansen Magnetic Nails Review

Hey beauties! I'm back for another review. Influsenter sent me the Sally Hansen Magnetic Nails polish a little over a month ago. It was completely complimentary from the program. I wanted to use it a few times before giving an actual review. So here's the breakdown:
I was sent the color Indigo, which is such a beautiful blue. It's such a beautiful color that I have worn it by itself before.

So first you are supposed to apply one layer of polish to all the nails and then you let them dry. Then you will paint one nail and hold the magnet above it for about ten seconds. When you lift, you should see a ripple-like effect. The first time I see it it worked pretty well. I did notice that my right hand and left hand looked differently, as far as the rippling effect. The drying time was not as long as I thought it'd be. It just had a really beautiful finish.
The next time I used it I noticed that sometimes the magnetic effect didn't work. You can see if you look at my ring finger in the picture above. I would try to paint another coat over and use the magnet and I'd still have a problem. I'm not sure if I had a malfunctioning magnet, but it still does give me problems. I also noticed that the polish leaves a blue stain on my nails.

Overall, I think this is a fun polish. It give you a fun look to try to one, some, or all of your nails. It's also pretty easy to do! My only complaint was the magnet not working all the time, but I might have had a faulty magnet. I hope this review helped!

'Til next time loves! MUAH

Beauty School! August Birchbox

Hey beauties! I'm back with another Birchbox :) This month's box was themed "Beauty School" which is just in time for the new school year! I knew last month's box would be pretty hard to beat, but let's see which items are my fave!
The packing for this month's box was too cute!!

A little booklet came that has all these great quick-fix beauty tips :)
The first item from this box is the Schick hydro silk razor. It has water-activated moisturizing serum, and it's supposed to be great for getting around all the curves on your legs. I'm going to give this to my mom, just because I have been using the Schick Intuition razors for years and I just find them to be the easiest to use. I still think this is an amazing value in the box!
This is one of my FAVORITE items from this box! This is the smudge stick waterproof eye liner by stila and it's in the color "stargazer." This is a crayon-type liner that goes on so smooth and is definitely long lasting! I just LOVE the specks of glitter in it! It gives a fun twist to the regular black liner. This will be perfect for fun nights or special occasion :) By the way, this is a full size product! This costs $20 in the Birchbox store!!! Such an amazing value in this month's box!!!
The next sample is by Yu-Be and it's the Moisturizing Skin Cream. According to Birchbox, this the best-selling Japanese cream. It's meant to hydrate chapped lips, cracked heels, or anything akin that's just in desperate need of repair. It has a really thick consistency and looks like Vaseline. It has a minty smell, like Vicks Vapor Rub. It's EXTREMELY hydrating and it's felt amazing on my hands!! I can only imagine how it'd make my feet feel extra soft! This is definitely a great product.
These are hand soap samples, by Caldrea. The scent is "Ginger Palmeo." These soaps are loaded with aloe vera and olive oil. The soap is thinner than most soaps, but feels really moisturizing even as you're washing your hands. My hands were left with this amazing and fresh scent! My hands didn't feel dry or harsh after washing. They felt really silky and smooth - something I don't get from regular hand soaps. Great product!!
Last product is another one of my FAVORITES from this box! This is a perfume called Viva la Juicy La Fleur by none other than Juicy Couture! It has a blend of wildberries, mandarin, and waterlily. It smells SO GOOD!!!
What I extra love about this sample is the fact that it has a pump! Most of the perfume samples just have those caps that you have to VERY CAREFULLY take off, or you'll end up spilling half of it (which usually happens to me haha). What can I say? You just can't go wrong with Juicy!! I am very, very happy about this sample!!

Overall, I loved this box. Clearly my favorites were the stila eyeliner and the Juicy Couture perfume. They're fabulous!

If you haven't seen my video regarding this month's box, please feel free to watch it here! It's short and sweet :) And I apologize for the creepy video thumbnail ^_^

Thank you so much for the support!! If you are reading this, I really appreciate you!! 'Til next time, MUAH!

First Jewelmint Purchase

Hey everyone! I'm excited to share my first Jewelmint purchase. In case you don't know, Jewelmint is a jewelry website that has a $29.99/month membership program. If you don't make a purchase during the first few days of the month, your card will automatically be charged $29.99, which will you give you a credit to the Jewelmint store. The good news is that if you don't want to buy anything that month and you don't want the money charged to your card, you can always "Skip this month," but you have to choose that option between the first and fifth day of each month. I was really hesitant on purchasing from Jewelmint, just because I am so frugal. However, they had a huge Summer Sale which made select items up to 70% off. I figured why not try them out while an item is on sale, that way I can decide for myself whether I think Jewelmint is worth the price in the long run. So let's see what I got!
My order arrived in this cute bubble envelope
The packaging was amazing. My item came in a nice and sturdy box. The inside had a card talking about Jewelmint, and there was this adorable velvet pouch that had a Jewelmint charm on the side. Love the packaging details!!!
I purchased the "Forever Yours" bracelet. It was on sale for $14.99. It has three chains that consists of a gold plated chain, a rose gold plated chain, and a silver plated chain.
Each chain has its own style. I also love the clasp! It reminds me of a wheel on a ship! This bracelet is so dainty, so feminine, and totally adorable! I don't have anything like this in my collection, and I love how versatile this piece is.

THE BREAKDOWN: I love this bracelet, but I'm glad I only paid $14.99 for it, because I don't think it would've been worth $29.99. On my bracelet there were noticeable glue marks, scratches, and a random gash. I'm not going to return in because I do love it, but I am very disappointed that it wasn't in perfect condition. The real test for me will be if my bracelet lasts the test of time or not. If it ends up tarnishing, that's going to be disappointing. If it does last, that will show me that Jewelmint prices are worth it. No one likes buying jewelry that fades!
If you haven't seen my latest video about this piece, please feel free to watch it here!

Thank you so much for the support!!! 'Til next time!! MUAH
